Formerly Tax Direct, formed in June 2006 with local accountants, South West Tax Accountants has recognised a need for individuals to receive great service at a reasonable price and offers a professional, personalised and one-on-one service to clients.

With 15 years experience in tax between them, the team at South West Tax Accountants specialise in the preparation and lodgement of income tax returns for individuals, rental properties, share transactions, sub-contractors and retirees.

WHO WE ARE

Andrea Van Herk – Senior Accountant
Bachelor of Business in Accounting and Public Practice

Andrea has worked in the field of Personal Taxation for the past three years, after completing a Bachelor of Business in Accounting and Public Practice. Prior to this Andrea spent fifteen years in the Banking and Finance Industry.


Kristal Carter - Accountant

Kristal started with us at South West Tax Accountants in July 2015, currently studying her Bachelor of Business, majoring in Accounting and Public Practice. Kristal’s role is the completion of income tax returns for individuals, partnerships, trusts and preparing financial statements.


Luke Blair – Accountant
Bachelor of Business in Accounting and Public Practice

Luke started working for our firm in November 2015 and is currently working with the business clients in the office. He previously worked in commercial property management and accounting for small and medium businesses. Luke has a great understanding of leasing matters and can help look at business prospects helping you understand your financial obligations. His spare time is enjoyed with his family and on the sporting fields with his children.


Emily Manifis – Office Manager

Emily started with us in February of 2015 and assists with general administration tasks within our firm. Emily has 3 years of reception and administration experience. Emily hopes to obtain her Certificate III in Business and progress within our firm. Emily’s spare time is spent with family and developing her house with her partner.
